Favorite TV Shows of All-Time Number 1

now come to my favorite tv series of all-time. Isn't it obvious already? you probably think that based from my previous posts i'd go for something like LOST or probably Superman the animated series.

Anyways, this is probably the series that i have seen from start to finish without missing a single episode (power failure-days not included). It was so so addicting. It was also a refreshing sorta feel-good comedy that makes you just wanna sit down and relax and have a great time.

Carrie Bradshaw is a perfect epitome of a bona fide 30s something woman who's looking for love but not want to settle. The same goes for the other girls particularly to Samantha Jones and not that much applicable to Charlotte York. Miranda Hobbes on the other hand is this uber-ly pessimistic over guarded judgmental chick that realizes what kind of a boob she is.

The second and third seasons were to die for and probably the best in the series with season 5 probably as the weakest. But that being said doesn't mean that season 5 wasn't great just so happens it is not a par the other seasons.

I kinda wish it did not end, I want to know more about them. I want to know what they will be doing next or what they would wear next. i want to know more of Samantha's sexcapades.

This is the single most addicting and funniest tv show ever.

Favorite TV Shows of All-Time Number 2

Like what i said in number 6, I am a big fan of that guy wearing blue tights and has a big S on his chest. I did not see this show on its very first day of showing. As a matter of fact, I first saw an episode of this show, if I remember it right, that was already the second season, first episode of second season. And then I was engrossed, first because of Kristin Kreuk, then the whole young superman thing-y.

After seeing that episode I hurriedly looked for the dvd of the first season. It took me weeks before i got my own copy of the dvd of season one of smallville. And since then I haven't missed a single episode.

Again, the writers of the series did a pretty good job for keeping this show aloft. The verbal judos of Lionel Luthor, lex Luthor and my fave character Chloe Sullivan played greatly by Allison Mack. She probably is the best in the show and Michael Rosenbaum second.

He still is not flying but I think we'll get to that soon. The uncovering of how he learned how to use his powers is quite fun to know. At least we have a background of our fave hero.

This maybe is the best show about aliens. But then again he is just human, well, raised as a human that is.

I can't help it I'm just a sucker for Superman.

Favorite TV Shows of All-Time Number 3

Like what I said awhile ago, I have this certain liking for TV shows that gets cancelled. And this is probably the best example to prove just that. I am a browncoat (Firefly followers) since the first day this show was aired on t.v.

It was written beautifully, this has got to be one of the best written tv shows ever made and it is a shame that they cancelled this show. This is the only movie about space and the universe that I actually liked. i am not a big fan if Star Wars more so Star Trek but his one got me hooked big time.

First of, the captain, captain Mal is every bit interesting and very engaging.. His character has that certain charm that makes hi character likeable. He is not that captain-ish, he is quirky yet authoritative. Then the cast. A perfect mesh of space outcasts. Who would've thought that a western sci-fi space show would be this addicting?

I was a part of this ride, I was wearing my browncoat, but those fuckers shut us out.

Favorite TV Shows of All-Time Number 4

This has got to be the most logic defying t.v. show ever made. The first day that I saw this I was so mesmerized and I was hooked. I eagerly waited what Michael Scoffield would do next. Week after week I waited what would happen and the show never fails to mesmerize or amaze or surprise me every week. Though there are some weird and probably not that realistic shenanigans, I still think that it's still superb. Who would think that a story about breaking out of a prison would be this damn good.

Wentworth Miller is great in this show. He overflows with sizzling charisma that sizzles every frame he is in. This is his show and he proves just that.

I think what is left for the makers to do is to keep up the tension, keep up the entertainment-on-the-edge-of-my-seat value.

This show is bound to move notches in my list but since it still is fresh I'll put it here first. but I have to wait...

Favorite TV Shows of All-Time Number 5

I know many are going te get mad at me or raise their eyebrows at me when they hear me say that I am a big big fan of SpongeBob SquarePants.

This yellow sponge is very addicting. And I really don't think that this animated show is meant for the youngn's in fact I think that it was made for those who can understand the humor and the jokes more , preferably those 12 years old and above. i really think that this show should have a PG-13 label on it because of the crude humor. But that being said doesn't mean that I hate in fact I love it very much that I have probably seen every singe episode that was shown.

My favorite character has got to be Squiward Tentacles. He is this sorta villain that always lose in the end. Technically he never wins over SpongeBob.

My favorite episodes were the box episode ("Imagination"), Sailor Mouth and the one about the hash slinging slasher.

This show is meant for us adults and I was a sucker for it, yet I really don't mind.

Favorite TV Shows of All-Time Number 6

I know the effects weren't that good and the enemies of superman weren't that much villain-y. But I can't help it I am just a big fan of the whole superman franchise. And I can't help falling for Teri Hatcher. She is a perfect Lois Lane (methinks). They changed some of the story and they change how Clark Kent would appear. Clark Kent is appealing in this one rather than a geek-azoid. Dean Cain puts his charisma to good use.

What got me in this show was the dialogue. Lois' superfluous and overzealous superpersona was empowered by the great writing of her script. Kudos also to Perry White's.

This is probably the first show that I truly was addicted. I can sill remember myself wanting to see it weekly and getting mad if ever they decide to cling an episode. I was very young back then. If I remember it right it was 1994, I was eight and I loved this show. I have it on dvd and I am still loving it. I love the show, I love superman, I love hatcher!

Favorite TV Shows of All-Time Number 7

Now before things are said, If I have only seen the first two seasons, this would have been in a higher place. The third season was some sorta mess probably because of Marissa worse Mischa.

The First Season is the best season for this series. I think this was the best series I've seen the year it was released. It was fresh, it was funny, it was poignant and it shows that filthy side of being rich. Well, rich kids, they have it all but they still keep on looking. But the twist was Ryan Atwood, a guy from "Chino"(probably slang for hmm not so fortunate side of the county) who was adopted by the Cohens. Then things start to stir. The girl next door went ga-ga over him and the geek dated the beautiful.

The second season was still great but it was a little bit murky. There were lotsa new stuff going on but it was at that point in time, still bearable and still great.

Benjamin Mackenzie along with Melinda Clarke, Adam Brody were the standouts of this show. But I have got to hand it to Ben, he was able to keep this show running and interesting and enjoyable. How about Mischa? Well, i had a big crush on her the first time, now I hate her. But Bad side aside I still love this show.

Can't wait what the outcome of the fourth season would be...

Favorite TV Shows of All-Time Number 8

This has got to be the best family drama I've ever seen. Usually I don't go for the usual tearjerkers or the usual family drama stuff that we always see on tv but this has got to be a stand out amongd all the other corny tv series.

The stellar cast, the ensemble acting, the splendid writing of the story were the key factors that got me hooked to watching this. It was never that much noisy. Not too much of that incessant bickering of family. It was easy to swallow. The others are just too plain and noisy and talky talk talk. This tv series has the passion and the heart. The makers of this series surely do know how to keep up this series for quite a long time.

I'm gonna miss this one.

X-Men 3: The Last Stand (C)

I have seen this saturday of its first week of showing. And I must say that i should not have gotten in line with those oh so many people. I was dismayed and more so disappointed with how the new director whose name i forgot. inger was a far superior director than he is.

It was bogged up with lotsa grandeur fight sequences that are grand in a way but tedious at the same time. It was as if the characters were given 5-10 minute scripts and after that they will get killed or they will lose their powers. The movie's star villain Mystique was such a mi because she had less screen time.

The movie in the end fell flat and looked pale in comparison with the first two installments. (C)

Favorite TV Shows of All-Time Number 9

This probably is the best series where doctors are in it, since I've only seen a few. And this was is hard to pull off because this series is a medical comedy. None of that very intense life changing brouhaha you get from E.R. or Grey's Anatomy. And this one is a full fledged comedy unlike Grey, a comedy posing as a drama.

Zach Braff is just superb in this series. There's not a doubt that he will go places with this as his stepping stone. The rest of the cast is just as quirk and as offbeat as Braff. Though very comedic there are stil some touching moments but then again, you won't get that much because you can't stop laughing.

The series is original, very original in its own way. The crafty knitting of stories made this series unique and a standout thanks to the quirky minds of its writers.

I am very happy that this show is now being noticed by emmy voters and it deserves it. Not to mention a win.

To Hell with the emmys!

I know I am not much of a fan of desperate housewives. but to chut them off the top categories is just plain filthy. Not to mention also the snub(s) received by LOST. And a complete shut out (except one stupid lousy nod) for my faves Veronica Mars and Prison Break, especially the latter.

Favorite TV Shows of All-Time Number 10

I thin I have this certain liking for TV series that gets cancelled. But this one is a clear mistake. I so Love Love Love Eliz Dushku in Tru Calling about a girl named Tru who comes back in time to save those who ask for her help, though they're dead. Now if that's not unique I do not know what elese you would call it.

The first season was getting to know Tru more and for her to really appreciate her "gift". The second season featured a very sinister character who is the exact opposite of Tru. He let's those people die instead of letting them be saved by Tru.

The correct mix of mystery humor and drama in this TV series was the one that got me hooked and not to mention the fact that the premise was put to good use.

I wish they bring back Tru in TV. I miss Dushku so much.
